Featured Brewery
Threshold opened its doors in January 2019 in the beer-centric neighborhood of Montavilla. Owned and operated by wife/husband duo Sara and Jarek Szymanski.
Threshold is about a shared community, a place to bring your family, a place to try good things and meet good people.
Jarek grew up in Wloclawek, Poland and immigrated to Portland in 2004 after falling in love with the Pacific Northwest. He's a perfectionist by nature and his approach to brewing is driven by a desire to produce an exceptional product to share with his city, his community, his family and his friends.
Sara, a Portland-area local, shares Jarek's passion for great beer and great hospitality. She manages the brewery's communications, marketing and logistics, working hand-in-hand with Jarek to share their love of all things craft.
WHAT'S NEW
It is that time of year!!! Fresh hop season is here!
We will have some of the best fresh hops from
Washougal, Vancouver, and Portland. They are
hitting shelves and taps this last week of September.
I am always working on bringing in new
breweries. I started distributing Brown Beard Brewing in Boise
and he just came out with The Beard Lebrewskie. You can get
that on tap at Matlack's and Dusty Rose Reserve.
I have also been talking with several really great breweries. I am hoping to have some updates in late October. Stay tuned!!!
